Working visit of Sergey Meshkin

Member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Head of the Vitebsk Regional Emergency Situations Department Sergey Meshkin paid a working visit to the Rossony district as part of the Unified Information Day.

"The Role of Family Values in Modern Society" was the theme of the speech delivered by Sergey Nikolaevich to the work collective of the Rossony District Electric Networks. The main message of the parliamentarian's speech to the energy workers concerned issues of demographic security. The head of department noted that Belarus is a socially oriented state that provides all conditions for family creation and childbearing.

"The future of our children depends solely on us today!" noted Sergey Nikolaevich, elaborating on the issue of child-rearing. "Only personal communication with them, only a personal example can instill the right family values in future generations."

The senator also addressed the issue of personal responsibility for one's lifestyle, goals, and methods of achieving them. "Every person has a life goal and strives to achieve it throughout their life. That is why it is necessary to develop and improve oneself daily, both professionally and personally," he noted.

Next, Sergey Nikolaevich held a meeting with the commanding staff of the Rossony District Department for Emergency Situations and the employees of Fire and Rescue Unit No. 1 of the department. During the meeting, he paid special attention to the rescuers' need to comply with legality, labor and transport discipline, and to maintain fire and rescue equipment and machinery, as well as the premises of the units, in proper condition. The head of department emphasized the strict prohibition of driving vehicles and being at the workplace while intoxicated, and also spoke about the consequences of such negligent attitude towards the performance of official duties and life in general.
