Firefighters extinguished a fire in a residential building in the village of Zaborie, Krasnopolsky rural council.
The emergency occurred on February 5. The owner was at home, heating the stove. At some point, she noticed a fire, called the fire department, and began to extinguish it. Her son and his friend rushed to help.
No one was injured. The fire damaged the ceiling and property. The walls are smoke-stained.
The cause of the fire was firewood that was drying near the stove.
Rescuers strongly recommend not storing firewood, clothing, or other combustible materials near or on the stove.
