Today, all conditions are created in the Republic of Belarus for young people – for obtaining quality education, employment, starting a family, and realizing their potential to the fullest for the benefit of the entire society.

Youth is the strength of our country, a strategic and personnel resource, and all issues related to the lives of young people fall within the scope of national-state interests. The potential of the younger generation is traditionally in demand in the economic-technological, scientific, social, and information spheres.

Youth policy in the Rossony district is implemented in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On the Fundamentals of State Youth Policy", the state program "Intellectual Belarus" for 2026–2030, and other legislative acts. The main directions of state youth policy are:

  • civil and patriotic education of youth;
  • promotion of a healthy lifestyle for youth;
  • state support for young families;
  • promotion of the realization of youth's right to work;
  • state support for youth in obtaining education;
  • state support for talented and gifted youth;
  • implementation of youth personnel policy;
  • state support for youth initiatives;
  • promotion of the realization of youth's right to association;
  • promotion of the development and implementation of youth's socially significant initiatives;
  • international youth cooperation.

State youth policy may also be carried out in other areas.

The goals of state youth policy are:

  • comprehensive education of youth, promotion of their spiritual, moral, intellectual, professional, and physical development;
  • creation of necessary conditions for the free and effective participation of youth in public life, realization of youth's potential in the interests of the entire society;
  • social, material, legal, and other support for youth;
  • expansion of opportunities for youth in choosing their life path.

In the Rossony district, the youth population constitutes only about 10.5% of the total district population.

Youth public associations operate in the Rossony district:

  • Rason District Organization of the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization";
  • Rason District Organization of the Public Association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union".

Youth self-governance bodies have been established in the district: the Youth Council under the Rason District Council of Deputies and the Youth Council.

State programs are being implemented to prevent offenses and various negative phenomena among youth.

Annually, within the framework of implementing the state youth policy, the following are held in the district:

  • events dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Soldiers-Internationalists, the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, Victory Day, Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, etc.;
  • campaigns "We are Citizens of Belarus!", "Belarus Remembers!", "Safety in Every Home", "Don't Burn Your Life", "Give Joy to Children", "To School with a Kind Heart", "Miracles for Christmas", etc.
