Manages the activities of the department, conducts state policy and organizes the implementation of measures for the socio-economic development of the district and social protection of the population. Ensures work on financial support for the department's activities, implementation of directions and priorities of state policy in the field of pension provision, social partnership, state social services and social assistance, support for veterans, and provision of social guarantees to the population.

Implements the main directions of state policy in the socio-labor sphere. Analyzes compliance with labor legislation by economic entities of all forms of ownership.

Implements state policy on population employment, development and utilization of labor resources. Studies and analyzes the state of labor resources and their employment, supply and demand for labor, implements measures to regulate the labor market and ensure population employment. Develops measures to ensure employment of the district population.

Manages the work of the Department of Population Employment and Social and Labor Relations.

Implements state policy on the application of current pension legislation, legislation on the assignment of pensions and benefits, and social support of the population.

Organizes work on the assignment, termination, suspension, and recalculation of pensions (benefits). Conducts training for employers on pension provision issues.

Reception of interested persons with applications for administrative procedures is carried out by specialists of the department in accordance with the List of administrative procedures carried out by the Department for Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Rossony District Executive Committee in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of April 26, 2010 No. 200 "On administrative procedures carried out by state bodies and other organizations upon applications of citizens", on working days (Monday-Friday) from 8:00 to 13:00, from 14:00 to 17:00, by a duty specialist according to the duty schedule weekly on Wednesday from 17:00 to 20:00 in office No. 50 (2nd floor of the district executive committee).

"Hotlines" with citizens and legal entities are held in the department daily on working days from 8:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00
