The purpose and objectives of the department's activities: the department is designed for initial reception, consultation of citizens, identification and registration of citizens in need of social services, realization of their rights established by law, analysis and forecasting of the actual and prospective need for social services, and informing citizens about the services provided by the Center.

Areas of work:

providing citizens in difficult life situations with advisory, informational and social intermediary services;
initial reception of citizens, identification of citizens' needs for social services, referral of citizens to the relevant departments of the center;
consulting citizens on obtaining various types of services at the center;
creation and updating of databases of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of combat operations in other states, persons affected by the consequences of wars, lonely elderly people, disabled persons of groups I-II-III, young disabled persons, etc.;
survey of the material and living conditions of socially vulnerable categories of citizens;
informing the public about the services provided by the center, including through mass media, as well as publishing memos, bulletins and other informational materials on social services for the population;

compilation and analysis of departmental and other reporting, analytical materials on the Center's activities;
acceptance and preparation of documents for payment of material assistance from the Social Protection Fund of the Population;
acceptance and preparation of documents for elderly citizens and disabled persons for their admission for permanent or temporary residence in round-the-clock care units, boarding houses of the region;
acceptance and preparation of documents for citizens for the provision of technical means of social rehabilitation;
issuance of technical means of social rehabilitation;
organization of the "Hotline" telephone service for emergency appeals of citizens to the Center;
control of the implementation of measures related to the repair of stoves, electrical wiring, installation of fire alarms;
control of the implementation of state programs.

To ensure the accessibility of social services for residents of rural settlements, a mobile team, a household team, and a social reception office have been organized.
