Social services are provided by the department to citizens in difficult life situations, as well as for the purpose of preventing and overcoming difficult life situations.
Upon application, the citizen presents the following documents:
- identity document;
- a document of the established form on the right to benefits (disability certificate, Great Patriotic War veteran certificate, etc.) for citizens belonging to the category of beneficiaries;
- consent to the processing of special personal data in cases provided for by personal data legislation.
- written application.
Social services are provided in accordance with the individual need for social services of citizens in difficult life situations.
A difficult life situation is a circumstance (a set of circumstances) that objectively worsens the conditions of life or poses a danger to the life and (or) health of a citizen, the consequences of which he cannot overcome on his own.
Circumstances under which a citizen may be recognized as being in a difficult life situation include:
- limitations of life activities that prevent self-
sufficiency of basic life needs due to illness, age, or disability;
- presence of a disabled person, including a disabled child, in the family;
- orphanhood;
- birth of twins or more children;
- family dysfunction, domestic violence;
- damage as a result of natural or man-made emergencies, hostilities, human trafficking, unlawful actions of other persons;
- lack of a fixed place of residence;
