  • As of January 1, 2025, the Law of the Republic of Belarus of October 11, 2024 No. 36-Z "On Amendments to Laws on Population Employment" has entered into force. Employers are obligated to post information on the availability of vacant jobs (vacancies) on the portal of the state employment service gsz.gov.by within 5 working days from the date they become available (Article 35).

    Employers with a staff list of no more than 5 employees have the right to provide information to the labor, employment, and social protection authority in writing.

    The effect of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of November 26, 2006 No. 18 "On Additional Measures for State Protection of Children in Unfavorable Families" has been terminated. Work with persons obliged to reimburse the costs of maintaining children under state care is carried out in accordance with Articles 31 and 32 of the new Law. Information on each case of unjustified absence from work by obligated persons must be sent to the internal affairs department at the place of residence of such persons.
