Local historians, employees of archives, libraries, museums, former employees of Soviet bodies, military commissariats, journalists, scientists, and encyclopedia editors participated in the search, collection, and preparation of materials for the book "Pamyat. Roson District."

With the efforts of the broad public of the district, one of the main sections of the book has been compiled – lists of fellow countrymen, partisans, underground fighters, and civilians who died in the Great Patriotic War, victims of fascist terror, as well as lists of Red Army soldiers who died and are buried in the district. Information is also provided about fellow countrymen repressed during the Stalin era and later rehabilitated, and about young men who died in Afghanistan. The book also contains materials about famous fellow countrymen – labor heroes, renowned writers, cultural and art figures, scientists, etc.

Certainly, the creators of the book cannot guarantee the complete exhaustiveness of the provided materials, especially the lists of the deceased. Some inaccuracies are also possible. The search work does not stop, previously closed archival cases are being opened, new information and research are appearing, and consequently, new names that will find their place in a new edition of the historical and documentary chronicle "Pamyat. Roson District" over time.
