In Rossony District there is a stadium, 8 sports halls, 5 indoor premises for physical training, and a tennis court.
To encourage more people to do sport, Rossony District has created the opportunities for people to take up volleyball, basketball, athletics, skiing, table tennis, draughts, and chess. The district holds local volleyball, soccer, chess, draughts competitions, the athletics relay race for the prize of the local Golas Rasonshchyny newspaper, and also volleyball tournaments commemorating famous countrymen.
A total of 144 students are enrolled in the children’s sports school of Rossony District.
Among the students and graduates of the sports school, there are many champions and prize-winners of regional and national competitions.
Rossony has the physical training and sports center Start with three gyms, a fitness studio, ping-pong and pool tables. The center offers massage services, rental of sports and camping equipment, and classes in water aerobics, karate, swimming, draughts and chess, tennis, artistic gymnastics, different pool games, and fitness.
